Organic Pima Cotton
For its light and summery styles, APU KUNTUR has relied for many years on the unique fineness, softness, and sustainability of Peruvian organic Pima cotton.
Often referred to as «the world’s finest cotton», it originates from the rain-rich coastal regions of Peru – where ideal growing conditions prevail in terms of soil quality, rainfall, and temperature. It is also harvested by hand in a particularly gentle and environmentally friendly way, which prevents contamination, protects the fiber, and allows for its remarkable fineness.
APU KUNTUR uses Pima cotton from certified organic cultivation, which is especially soil- and resource-friendly, and completely free from pesticides.
