The baby llama fibre used for these knitted slippers is dirt-repellent, odourless and light. It is characterised by its excellent insulating properties. It is particularly tear-resistant and durable and does not shrink during washing.
Llamas have a multi-layered coat: the coarse top hair on top and the fine spinnable undercoat underneath. The baby llama fibre used here is obtained from the wonderfully fine undercoat of the animals.
